Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary: This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of 10 frequencies for the purpose of providing support, security and logistics communications for preparation and race at the 2017 Blancpain Intercontinental GT Challenge at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Monterey County California for the periods of October 9 through October 15, 2017. The specific frequencies being requested are needed to be compatible with the equipment normally used in conjunction with this type of event. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events. The number of frequencies and units requested is minimum to satisfy the needs of this activity
