Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary: This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of 12 frequency pairs for the purpose of providing support, security and logistics communications for preparation and race at the 2016 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX at the Circuit of The Americas race track Austin, TX for the periods of October 14 through October 25, 2016. The specific frequencies being requested are needed to be compatible with the equipment normally used in conjunction with this type of event. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events. The number of frequencies and units requested is minimum to satisfy the needs of this activity
