Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of frequencies 1470, 1490, 2367 and 2384 MHz to provide network video coverage of the Breedrers Cup Race and associated events at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY November 1 through November 4, 2006. Broad Comm provides radio-frequency support services to broadcasters and broadcast network entities for coverage of major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events. AFTRCC coordination has been requested and will be provided prior to the event (Coordiantion for 2367 and 2384 MHz has been received and coordiantion for 1470 and 1490 MHz is pending).
