This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of 8 frequency pairs for the purpose of providing support and logistics communications for the 2013 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX at the Circuit of The Americas race track Austin, TX for the period of November 8 through November 17, 2013. The specific frequencies being requested are needed to be compatible with the equipment normally used in conjunction with this type of event. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events. The number of frequencies and units requested is miniumum to satisfy the needs of this activity .
