Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary: This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of 9 frequency pairs for the purpose of providing support and logistics communications for preparation and race at the 2014 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX at the Circuit of The Americas race track Austin, TX for the periods of August 5 thriugh August 7, 2014 and October 31 through November 2, 2014. The specific frequencies being requested are needed to be compatible with the equipment normally used in conjunction with this type of event. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events. The number of frequencies and units requested is miniumum to satisfy the needs of this activity
