Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of several 2-Ghz frequencies and a number of UHF frequencies. The purpose will be to provide televised network coverage and logistics support of the U. S. Open Tennis event and related activities from the period of August 24 through September 10, 2012 at Flushing NY. Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to broadcasters and broadcast network entities for coverage of major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events.The large number of frequencies and transmitter units requested are required to support an event of this magnitude.
