This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of a number of frequencies for the purpose of providing support and logistics communications for the Red Bull X-Fighters event at Glen Helen Raceway, San Bernardino, CA for the period of May 4 through May 13, 2013. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events The number of frequencies and units requested is to satisfy the needs of this activity and to allow for the fact that the frequency are shared with other authrorized users and therefore may not always be available.
