Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of frequencies in the 460 MHz band for the purpose of providing logistic support for a Motocross event to be held at the Fort Worth Stockyards Fort Worth, TX for the period of June 20 through June 27, 2009. Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to broadcasters and broadcast network entities for coverage of major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events. The number of units requested is based on the logistics support requirement for this event.
