Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of TV channels 24, 33 and 49 at the Ferrel Center, Baylor University Waco, TX. The purpose will be to transmit audio and video to spectators using receivers while they are attending events at the arena over the period from March 2 through March 5, 2013. This period included setup, testing and actual use. Three differnt TV channels are being requested but only the one that proves to be the most suitable will actually be used. Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to broadcasters and broadcast network entities as well as other services for coverage of major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events.
