An STA extension is required to support continued RF testing and mapping of aircraft at cellular frequencies. This test will help support the study of the impact of mobile devices on onboard electronic systems for the 787 program. Per CFR47 5.61, an application for an experimental license was also filed, 0013-EX-PL-2008 refers.
