Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Avitas Systems, Inc., is experimenting with developing new microwave technology to install and operate a robust communication network for an unmanned aerial system (UAS) in support of Avitas Systems effort to gain FAA authorization to operate an UAS beyond line of sight (BLOS) per the requirements lain out in Section 2210 of Public Law 114-190. Due to the extreme frequency congestion in South East Texas, Avitas Systems, Inc. requests the use of this channel.
