ARTEMIS is working as a subcontractor to develop a synthetic aperture radar system for the Office of Naval Researchs Compact Modular Sensor Suite (CMSS) program. The STA will enable ARTEMIS to perform preliminary tests and ensure proper operation before demonstration for customer.

Radar testing As part of the Office of Naval Researchs Compact Modular Sensor Suite, the ARTEMIS X-01 SAR system is used for wide-area detection, classification, localization and tracking of surface and near-surface drifting / oscillating mines. The STA is for preliminary testing before demonstration of the system to the government.
