Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation

Please explain the purpose of operation:

UAV testing To test unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) using both autopilot and manual radio control. The autopilots will be configured to test the UAVs? performances by taking them through increasingly complex flight paths. A radio control (RC) operator will be on-site to take manual control should the autopilot lose its link with the ground station or if the UAV does not perform as expected.
