Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Applicant submits the instant request to conduct testing and demonstration of a fixed, moored aerostat using a FDD-LTE base station system for testing the system in a rural location and preparing the moored aerostat system for use by mobile carriers to provide LTE in rural locations across the U.S. The system testing and demonstration will be conducted at the Loring International Airport in Limestone, Maine. Because the testing is intended to occur over a short duration, experimental STA is appropriate.
