Special Temporary Authority application - Initial values - Purpose of Operation

Please explain the purpose of operation:
In 2020, evaluations will be done to measure the susceptibility of U.S. Army tactical radio equipment to co-channel signals from Advanced Wireless Services user equipment operating in the 1755-1780 MHz band. The antennas used in these evaluations are required to be fully characterized prior to the evaluations. Continuous wave signals from a fixed calibrated directional antenna will be used to determine the gain across each omni-directional antenna to be used in the evaluations.
