Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Airspan Networks is looking to showcase its new Wimax 802.16 2004 compliant technology product line AS.MAX. The equipment consists of a Base Station Transceiver Radio, Antenna and Subscriber terminal equipment to operate on the 3.5 GHz range, using WiMax communications protocol. The 3.5 GHz band is not authorized for data communications in the US, and products operating in this frequency range will not be sold in the United States. However, in order to test and demonstrate the performance of the WiMax protocol, Airspan needs to establish over-the-air communications links.
