Special Temporary Authority application - Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
The purposed of the operation is to conduct high-altitude balloon testing using Mobile Networked MIMO (MN-MIMO) radios in the Sioux Falls, SD area. The ground station is a temporary fixed platform in place for the duration of the balloon flight only and will be used for command/control communications with the balloon and also to down-link high rate payload data from the balloon. The balloons may also relay data to other balloons in a mesh network, but at a significantly lower EIRP.
