The STA will enable Advanced Protection Systems to test its low weight, low power prototype radar with a prospective customers in order to evaluate performance at specific location. This is necessary to support work we are doing on counter-drone technology, as well as work on sense-and-avoid technology.

Please explain the purpose of operation:
Testing of a low-weight, low-power prototype radar with a prospective customer at their facility. To test the low weight, low power radar sensor. This radar device was designed to detect micro- and small-drones, with possible applications in counter-drone systems and sense-and-avoid drone systems. Counter-drone systems are urgently needed in defence and consumer industries. We will need to perform short term testing and demonstration for potential customers. Temporary license in needed only for two weeks.
