US Air Force has requested that Advanced Navigation and Positioning (ANPC) demonstrate the operation of their Transponder Landing System (TLS) during the weekend of Sept 14-15. The TLS transmits on frequencies that are controlled by the FAA. A pre-coordination request has been submitted to the FAA.

The TLS operates like an Instrument Landing System (ILS), broadcasting at 1030MhZ, 1090MHz, and an FAA-assigned Localizer/Glideslope frequency pair. Operation is scheduled to occur between 0800 on Sept 14 until 1800 on Sept 15, 2019.
