Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Need to continue on-air testing in order to meet production schedule and customer needs. Delays in engineering and production have lengthened the time needed to perform testing until April 13, 2000. Therefore a six month extension of the current STA is requested. Note that the company name changed from Microwave Data Systems to Adaptive Broadband Corporation on April 29, 1999. No change in ownership or control occurred, only a name change. The Commission was informed of this change.
