Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This request is to authorize operations for a limited period of 4 days from 19 March 2001 through 22 March 2001 at the CTIA Wireless 2001 trade show. Operations will be for demonstration purposes and will take place indoors at our booth on the trade show floor. Because of the limited period involved, and the closeness of the date, an STA is the appropriate instrument.

Special Temporary Authority application - Initial values - Purpose of Operation

Please explain the purpose of operation:
Operations will be for demonstration purposes and will take place indoors at our booth on the trade show floor. Products being demonstrated are in the pre-production stage, and have not yet been FCC certified. The products operating in the MMDS and LMDS bands are believed to meet all requirements for certification. The products operating in the 3.4-3.6 GHz band are meant for export only, and will not be FCC certified. They are believed to meet all ETSI requirements for compliance with the EU RTTE Directive.
