The applicant currently is the Grantee (code: 2AAXV) of authorized and certified equipment (FCC identifier: 2AAXVTNTMOD1). The instant request for Special Temporary Authority seeks authority to experiment, develop equipment, obtain operational data, conduct field testing and perform calibration for a period of less than 6 months. The foregoing operations will be conducted pursuant to 47 C.F.R. §§ 5.3(a) and (j). The public interest will be served by grant of this application as it will allow highly controlled experimentation and development - - completely on privately owned property - - to refine the use of the radio spectrum that is employed by the equipment.
