On January 7, 2000, XM Radio Inc., the holder of a license to launch and operate a Digital Audio Radio Service (DARS) system, filed a request for an experimental STA pursuant to Section 5.61 of the Commission‘s Rules to test terrestrial repeater transmitters at four fixed locations around the Ft. Lauderdale, FL area. A copy of this experimental STA request is attached hereto. as ,4 A copy of the Office of Engineering and Technology‘s t of this experimental STA request is also attached hereto. This grant was incorrectly isgded in the name of XM Satellite Radio Inc., which is a parent corporation of XM Radio Inc XM Radio Inc. respectfully requests that the name of the holder of the above—captioned experimental STA be changed to XM Radio Inc.
