WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY, INCORPORATED respectfully requests an
extengion of the frequency range of operation permitted under
Experimental Radio Service Station License KAZXXX, File Number
3811—EX—R—95, expiring November 1, 1997 .

Currently, operations under Experimental Radio Station License
KA2XXX are conducted within the frequency band 2450—2483.5 MHz.
Additional frequencies are permitted for Intentional Radiator
unlicensed devices under Part 15 of the Commission‘s Rules and
Regulations [Part 15, Section 15.249 (47 CFR Part 15, §15.249)].
Ssection 15.249 of the Rules permits operation within the frequency

                                    FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION /
                                              WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY, INC.
                                          Application for Modification
                                            Experimental License KA2XXX
                                                  EXHIBIT 1, Page No. 2

The added frequency range 2400—2450 MHz is needed, as a result of
the growing demand by National defense, public safety, and
commercial entities, for new radio products and radio systems
furnishing realtime video security— and safety—related
capabilities. With the frequency range 2450—2483.4 Miz now
permitted under the present Experimental Radio Station License
KA2XXX, WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY, INCORPORATED will be able to design,
research, develop and functionally test equipment to serve this
need within the entire 2400—2483.5 MHz frequency range accessible
under the Commission‘s Rules and Requlations.

As applicable to Station License KA2ZXXX, the modification of the
frequency range to 2400—2483.5 MHz is the only change sought by
this Application for Modification. All other terms, conditions,
technical and operational information now on file in the
Commission‘s records for the initial application, dated July 7,
1993, and renewal of Experimental Radio Station Licensge KA2Z2XXX,
