Program Experimental License with File Number 0093-EX-PN-2018 and Confirmation Number EL304303 Applicant Eligibility Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) is a public research university with a graduate research program in engineering accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. The university is home to Wireless @ Virginia Tech, a multi-disciplinary research group comprised of world-leading engineering faculty and students with a 26-year history of solid research results and innovation. Virginia Tech is among the “serial” holders of experimental licenses with demonstrated expertise in radio spectrum management. The program area identified in this license application is our Kentland Experimental Aerial Systems (KEAS) Laboratory which is under the control of the university. This license will be in addition to the existing Program Experimental license associated with call sign WA3XAQ covering our main campus in Blacksburg VA.
