    Purpose of the Operation:
!
ViaSat desires to perform customer acceptance testing of a 6.1 m S band antenna operating in
the 2025 to 2120 MHz band and operating at a maximum ERP of 57.9 dBW (60 dBW EIRP).

Testing is of limited duration of 15 or less per transmission. During transmissions antenna will
be oriented to point at the sun. Minimum elevation is not less than 15 degrees.
!
During testing, transmissions will be monitored by test engineers. If in the event interference is
detected or for any other reason it is necessary to cease transmissions, ViaSat engineers can be
    reached at 1-720-241-1815.
!
The operation of the RFT will be in full compliance with the Commission’s radio frequency (RF)
exposure guidelines. The RFT will be secured from access by the general public and will be
operated by experienced test personnel. RF power will be removed when performing
    maintenance on the antennas.

When operating at full power, the power density at the antenna reflector surface is calculated per
OET 65 guidelines as 1.4 mW/cm2 and below the controlled access limit of 5 mW/cm2. Both the
near field and far field power densities are below the 1 mW/cm2 limit for uncontrolled exposure.
