Mr. Hemple,

In that case, the USAF AFC has no technical objections to the current license.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks.

I would say "no" but many times the commission will have you re-coordinate since you have to list all
frequencies on the request for modification/application. I have seen it happen. I would recommend
submitting the application and if the commission kicks it back for AFTRCC coordination, send me an
email directly and we will work something out.

Ms. Corzo,

Thank you for your reply. I just want to be clear about this. Each time we renew or modify a license
we are required to reapply for AFTRCC coordination? The current license does not expire until Aug,
2019 and the modification is not in the bands requiring AFTRCC coordination.

Good Afternoon Mr. Hemple,

The USAF AFC has no technical objections to the current license. However, AFTRCC
renewal/coordination is required. Per Mr. Morris the following needs to be accomplished:

"This will require AFTRCC coordination for the Flight Test AMT portion,
1435.0-1525.0 MHz as indicated on their request for renewal to the Commission. AFTRCC coordination is
always required for 1425.0-1525.0 and
2360.0-2395.0 MHz albeit new request, modification, or renewal. ViaSat should follow the instructions
located on the AFTRCC website ( www.aftrcc.org ) for obtaining coordination. Once AFTRCC coordination
is received and sent to them, this should be attached to their application for renewal to the FCC."

Thanks.

Randy,

Attached is the active license grant (0192-EX-RR-4014.pdf) and the AFTRCC
(AFTRCC_2009.pdf) coordination. I should clarify that file number
0049-EX-CM-2017 does include additional bands but they are not modifications to the AFTRCC
coordination. All parameters listed in the AFTRCC coordination are still valid. Because 0049-EX-CM-
2017 is still pending there is no license grant available but I have attached form 442 (0049-EC-CM-
2017_FCC_FROM442.dpf).

Steve

Mr. Whittington,

In a phone conversation last week with Mr. Jimmy Nguyen your name was given as a contact for some
help regarding a coordination issue.

I am renewing an experimental license (0049-EX-CM-2017) we (ViaSat, Inc.) use for testing antennas
ant our antenna pattern test range in Pendergrass, GA. The requested renewal does not include any
modification however, NTIA has requested that the Air Force point of contact for the AFTRCC
coordination be updated. Mr. Nguyen suggested that this person would come from your department.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me via email or phone.
