Experiment Description The requested emissive parameters of this experiment are unchanged. The modification is to add as a point of communication the ViaSat-1 satellite at 115.1 degrees west longitude and the frequency band 28.35 – 29.1 GHz, and to extend Mobile operations to within CONUS versus within 50 km of Carlsbad, CA. The purpose of the modifications is to allow continued testing of new applications within the coverage area and frequency bands supported by ViaSat-1. The ViaSat-1 spacecraft is owned and operated by ViaSat, Inc., the applicant and current license holder for WF2XOP. The operation of all experimental earth stations will be controlled by ViaSat’s network management center which may be reached 7/24 at 720- 493-7300.
