----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Message:

Ms. Nguyen,

Please find in this correspondence the answers to the Internation Bureau's queries.

1) Please specify the frequency band and its associated emission designator and power (ERP) that will
be operated by 75 cm and 180 cm earth station terminals, and GM40 aeronautical earth stations.

Earth Station Terminal : GM40 75 cm 180 cm
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Emission Designator: 320MG7D 320MG7D 320MG7D
                                       160MG7D 160MG7D 160MG7D
                                         80MG7D 80MG7D 80MG7D

Frequency Band [MHz]: 28350-30000 28350-30000 28350-30000

ERP [W]: 354730 384730 3508780*

(*Question 2 regarding the ERP of the 180 cm ES terminal is addressed in this table.)

3) In response to the comment that Viasat's operations with ERP levels exceeding Article 22 of the ITU
radio regulations Viasat submits the following:

The 180 cm and 75 cm Earth Station terminals are fixed and non-tracking thus will not be used on the
O3b constellation. The GM40 while having an increased EIRP uses a larger carrier thus the EIRP
density of the GM40 will be nominally less than and at most the same as the M40 terminal listed on the
current Experimental license authorization.

Best Regards,
