PROGRAM OF RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENTATION

Pursuant to Section 5.61 of the FCC’s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 5.61, Verizon Wireless
requests a minor modification of its special temporary authorization (“STA”) (Call Sign
WJ9XPO; File Nos. 0314-EX-ST-2016 and 0765-EX-ST-2016) to (i) add prototype
equipment manufactured by Nokia for periodic test operations within the authorized
Euless, Texas and South Plainfield, NJ areas; and (ii) extend the term for an additional
six months following grant of this STA request.

The additional prototype equipment will employ directional, beamforming
antennas, and the antenna orientation in the horizontal and vertical planes will vary. The
technical parameters and other details regarding the equipment are specified in the
accompanying STA Form. All other terms and conditions of the existing STA will
remain the same.
