Correspondence on 0229-EX-PL-2003

1. Necessary bandwdith on 9000-10000 MHz band is 5 MHz. That is, each
10 microsecond pulse occupies 5 MHz bandwidth (linear frequency
modulation chirp pulses). However, the center frequency of the
pulses is variable between 9000-10000 MHz. A frequency allocation
of 10% bandwidth is requested to enable use of a frequency-scanned
antenna for electronic scanning of the radar beam in elevation.
Specific frequency limits are flexible provided they are in the
  vicinity of 10 GHz.

2. Necessary bandwidth on 9380-9440 MHz band is 2 MHz (first null
bandwidth of the pulse spectrum). An allocation between 9380-9440 MHz
is requested to accomodate drift in center frequency by the magnetron
  source.
