To Whom It May Concern,

We are proposing to install and utilize a GPS NETWRORKS HNRRKIT GPS Re-Radiation
system into our Yellow Hangar located at 1970 N. 7thStreet, Lawrence, Kansas that is part of the
University of Kansas Aerospace Engineering department Garrison Flight Research Center
(GFRC). The purpose of the GPS Repeater is to prescribe UAS operating requirements in the
National Airspace System (NAS) for the purpose of flight testing to evaluate the
aerodynamic/propulsion system integration, control systems, on-board sensors, the ability to fly
accurate flight profiles and the ability for all systems to function without interference. To this
end, we perform ground testing and airworthiness validation within our hangar(s) where there
is currently no GPS signals present to initialize and validate operation of our Autopilot systems.
We also perform research and development utilizing Quadcopters (4-arm Helicopters) and
need positioning information w i h the confines of the hangar for safety reasons.

It is, therefore, requested you approve our request for FCC licensing of our Re-Radiation
system.

Thank You for your attention in this matter.

Best Regards,
