Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Simulating communications link with flight hardware will require free radiation on the proper frequencies.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The operation is to test the communications link for a nanosatellite. The communications simulation will involve a long range transmission (~20 miles) from an Astrodev Helium-100 radio to an Ettus Research USRP. This will simulate the ground to space radio environment.
