LandSea Systems, Inc. is respectfully requesting a five (5) year, nationwide, experimental
license. The purpose of the license is as follows:
We have asked for an experimental as opposed to an end-user license as we only test and
demonstrate Inmarsat products. We do not have a need for full-time operational use of any of
the Inmarsat capable satellite communications terminals.

Testing is conducted on all systems when they are received from our manufacture, prior to
delivery to our end-user customer. While all testing is done at our office in Virginia Beach, we
perform product demonstrations throughout the 50 United States and in the District of Columbia.

We have requested a five (5) year as opposed to a two (2) year license out of convenience, as we
have been in business for ten(10) years and expect to continue to have a license need for some
time to come. This would prevent our need to track and renew every twenty four (24) months.

Please contact me if there are any further questions.

Regards,

Robert Haithcock
