Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This is a short term research experiment by Texas Tech University using two mobile Ka-band Radar systems which operate at frequencies of 34.86 - 35.06 GHz. Previous application request was for licensing covering the continental US. The project has been delayed until weather conditions are better later in the season. A request an STA is for this specific objective.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The mobile radar systems will be used to analyze the complex wind flow regime over a wind farm in South Texas. Hopefully we can obtain licensing in time in order to avoid delaying the start of the research project. Stop buzzer, Jerry Guynes Cell phone: 979-324-6110
