Please explain the purpose of operation:
The purpose of the operation of the transmitter will aid in the search and rescue of avalanche victims. The robot that will be constructed will drill its way to the surface of the snow and transmit a rescue signal to a fixed based station. The reason for the drill is to allow the transmission signal to be unimpeded by the snow.
