Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Telcordia wishes to conduct experiments for six months involving use of WiMAX technology with telecommunications systems, and wishes to begin these experiments as soon as possible. Telcordia wishes to experiment with configuring, controlling and managing network equipment and element management systems using WiMAX and resolving relating key issues of WiMAX networking and services, and to design and implement experiments involving the relationship of Telcordias WiMAX operation support prototypes to public safety and other broadband wireless operations, and potentially in support of research that Telcordia performs under the auspices of the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA). To expedite these experiments, Telcordia plans to utilize commercial WIMAX equipment at 3.5 GHz, 4.9 GHz, 2.5 GHz and 700 MHz (specifically, 3400-3600 MHz, 4940-4990 MHz, 2495-2690 MHz and 698-746 MHz).

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Telcordia wishes to experiment with configuring, controlling and managing network equipment and element management systems using WiMAX and resolving relating key issues of WiMAX networking and services, and to design and implement experiments involving the relationship of Telcordias WiMAX operation support prototypes to public safety and other broadband wireless operations, and potentially in support of research that Telcordia performs under the auspices of the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA). To expedite these experiments, Telcordia plans to utilize commercial WIMAX equipment at 3.5 GHz, 4.9 GHz, 2.5 GHz and 700 MHz (specifically, 3400-3600 MHz, 4940-4990 MHz, 2495-2690 MHz and 698-746 MHz).
