                    REQUEST FOR EXPEDITED TREATMENT

As discussed in the accompanying “Narrative Statement,” Tarana Wireless is
designing and developing equipment that will operate in the 3655-3670 MHz band. It
seeks to demonstrate and test key functionalities of prototype equipment designed to
improve reliability and efficiency of wireless backhaul systems and approaches. Tarana
Wireless also seeks to test and evaluate the coverage, capacity, and reliability of multiple
backhaul link operations in on the same frequency channel

Tarana Wireless was recently asked to conduct demonstrations and tests
beginning on October 1, 2013, to benchmark the equipment as part of a vendor selection
process. Accordingly, Tarana Wireless respectfully requests expedited treatment of its
request so that it may commence the demonstrations as requested. It is unable to re-
schedule the test, as the representatives attending the demonstrations cannot readily
participate at another time. In addition, Tarana Wireless seeks to provide actual test data
at the meetings to be held during the weeks following the demonstrations.

Tarana Wireless submits that expedited processing of its request is in the public
interest, convenience, and necessity, as it will permit Tarana Wireless to advance both the
communications technology and the application technology needed to meet the rapidly
expanding communications needs of users.
