Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We have been hired to do CE mark testing on an earth compactor and an asphalt compactor - commercial vehicles - that are too wide to fit into our anechoic test chamber. They weigh about 15 tons. The STA is to perform appropriate radiated immunity testing for CE mark while units are being tested for emissions at our OATS. Perform CE mark rf radiated immunity test in 80-108, 137-328.6, 335.4-406, 410-608, and 614-960 MHz ranges at 1.65 W erp. No transmissions on 156.8 and 234 MHz. Earth compactor test is 06-08 August 2002, soil compactor test if 17-19 September 2002. If one STA cannot be issued to cover both timeframes, please ignore September timeframe request and I will do 2nd submittal. Thank you.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  RF immunity test on industrial equipment as required by European Union EMC directive.
