Application for Experimental Radio Service Authorizatio Dear Sir or Madam: On behalf of TRW Inc. ("TRW*"), enclosed herewith is an application on an original FCC Form 442 for authorization in the experimental radio service {other than broadcast) under Part 5 of the Commission‘s Rules. TRW respectfully requests that the Commission act on the instant application by December 10, 1999. Expedited treatment of the application is necessary because it was only recently that TRW learned from its prospective customer that it would need to conduct verification tests in a residential environment, thereby requiring that TRW obtain experimental authorization. See 47 C.F.R. § 2.803(e). These verification tests are scheduled to be conducted on December 15, 1999. Because this testing will be competitive and will involve the verification of a number of systems at the same time, the customer has indicated that it is not prepared to reschedule the test for a later date. In light of the foregoing, TRW requests that the Commission act on the instant application by December 10, 1999, so that final preparations can be made in a timely fashion.
