TRW is under contract to the US government, this authorization will support activity in the national security interests of the United States. The purpose of this operation is to conduct trials of experimental radio equipment performing water wave scatterometry and characteriztion at Lake Piru beginning as soon as possible in April of this year and continuing thru June 2001 under contract to the US Navy.
