Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Our company is participating in a Special Operations Command (SOCOM) field exercise at Camp Blanding, FL during the period 21-23 October 2014. The military intends to provide us with a pair of PRC-148 handheld radios. We will attach our encoder to one of the radios and send video (using the data feature of the radio) to the second radio. The second radio will be attached to a laptop, where the video will be viewed. The bandwidth of the video broadcast is typically from 100 - 400 KHz, but it can be controlled to a little as 10 Khz. SOCOM has directed that we request (and receive an STA) for the exercise period (21-23 Oct 14).
