Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Stratos is applying for this STA to demonstrate up to two R-BGAN terminals through March 2005 to facilitate commercial launch of these terminals when the Inmarsat 4 satellite commences operation. Conducting experimental trials of the Inmarsat R-BGAN user terminals using the existing Inmarsat 3 satellite will facilitate commercial launch of these terminals and ensure interference-free operation when the Inmarsat 4 satellite is launched.
