Proposed experimentation: SpiderCloud Wireless, Inc, a startup corporation based in San Jose, CA engaged in design of 3G Femtocell wireless products and test at its partner test facilities located at 42808 Christy Street, suite 102, Fremont, CA 94538. The equipment will be compliant to 3GPP specifications for WCDMA in the UMTS bands 2 and 4. b. Objective: To test multiple vendor portable equipment interoperating with the femtocell basestation under development. c. Contribution: Indoor femtocells have the potential to offload local voice and/or data traffic from the outdoor macrocellular system. Work will be done to test and optimize operation of the femtocell system to provide higher speed data than previously available.
