Pursuant to Section 5.61 of the Commission's rules, 47 CFR Section 5.61, Sony Electronics Inc., hereby request special temporary authorization to operate 5 GHz Wireless Lan products at a trade show. These products have been designed with the intent of meeting compliance with the FCC?s rules upon testing; however, test data demonstrating compliance with the applicable FCC's rules is not available at this time. These products consists of: IEEE802.11a Wireless Lan PC Card. IEEE802.11a Wireless Lan Access Point 100BaseT/802.11a Wireless Router. The purpose of this operation is to demonstrate the capabilities of these new products at a trade show.
