       In re Application of

       Silvus Technologies, Inc.
       10990 Wilshire BLVD., Suite 1500
       Los Angeles, California 90024

To operate in the 2360-2390MHz Telemetry Band in Los Angeles, California.

       ATTN.: Microwave Branch

Silvus Technologies, Inc., hereby requests Special Temporary Authority (STA) to operate
within the 2360-2390MHz telemetry band pursuant to Section 21.25 of the Commission’s
Rules. Silvus Technologies, Inc. requests that the Commission grant it temporary
authority to operate on the frequency centered at 2385MHz with a 5MHz bandwidth from
December 04, 2017 through January 31, 2017 with intermittent usage. As explained
below, Silvus Technologies, Inc., is filing an STA request to demonstrate data coherency
in a MIMO configuration. Silvus Technologies, Inc., submits that there are extraordinary
circumstances warranting a grant of the STA request.

The United States Air Force Research Laboratory has invited Silvus Technologies, Inc.,
to do some follow-up testing of new microwave technologies with regard to data
coherency. Due to the extreme frequency congestion in the Los Angeles area, Silvus
Technologies, Inc., requests the use of this channel.

Silvus Technologies, Inc., certifies that the operation of the requested channels for the
purposes specified herein will not cause interference to any established stations.

Grant of the instant request for STA for the 2.3GHz band would serve the public interest
by enabling Silvus Technologies, Inc., to demonstrate the reliability of their emission
scheme as it relates to receiving consistent data packets. The proposed service would
enable a demonstration of the Streamcaster SC3500 transceiver / antenna array in a
airborne exercise. Silvus Technologies, Inc is in the process of obtaining the consent of
the relevant frequency coordinators for this project, including AFTRCC. AFTRCC has
indicated its intent to forward the results of the coordination to the Commission.

In accordance with Section 74.633 of the Commission’s Rules, the following is provided:
