Shure seeks authority to operate a digital wireless transmitting device, as postulated in FCC Notice of Proposed Rule Making ET Docket No. 04-186, for temporary short-duration tests and demonstrations.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Demonstrating the effects of interference from proposed unlicensed wireless devices to wireless microphones as postulated in FCC ET Docket No. 04-186. Shure seeks to demonstrate the effects of interference from proposed unlicensed wireless devices to wireless microphones, as postulated in FCC ET Docket No. 04-186, to the FCC and various other parties at locations in the Washington, D.C. area.
