JUSTIFICATION FOR CONFIDENTIALITY
Individual Force Protection System (IFPS) Generation I / Generation II Research and
Development Program

The DARPA Security Classification Guide for the IFPS Gen I / II Program provides
security guidance and information release guidance. Per the classification guide,
technical parameters are For Official Use Only (FOUO). Certain performance and
vulnerability information is classified up to Top Secret.

In addition, the DARPA Security Classification Guide requires that the public release of
any information about the IFPS program must be first approved by DARPA.

In addition, certain IFPS technical information is proprietary and should not be released
without first obtaining permission from SAIC.
