Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Testing and Validation of Operational Requirements and system performance. We have initiated an Internal Research and Development (IR&D) program where we are developing an integrated image sensor package and RF transmission system and will integrate this package on a small rotor wing unmanned air vehicle for use by the US Army Future Combat System Program. This system is being developed for US Army Infantry uses in urban areas to assist the US Army Units prosecute battles in areas now being experienced. This STA will allow SAIC to develop, test and validate operational requirements and this solution.
