Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Extension of the STA is necessary to continue testing whether a private LTE network can operate in the Citizens Broadcast Radio Service spectrum in order to provide communications for applications such as wildfire risk mitigation. SDG&E wishes to continue testing until Oct. 17, 2020, the new Part 96 transition deadline granted by the WTB on March 19, 2020.
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
The operation is to determine if 10 MHz or 20 MHz TDD channels will support mission critical utility applications without causing any co-channel or adjacent channel interference to existing licenses. The purpose of the operation is to determine if 10 MHz or 20 MHz TDD channels will provide the coverage, capacity, and latency required to support mission critical utility applications while not causing any co-channel or adjacent channel interference to existing licenses.
